Module 6.1 - IMPACT

How are you impacted by the idea that the Bumble Bee changes the world by simply living its daily life? How do you think your life is impacted if you know what you’re doing is making a difference in the world? What do you do in your sphere of influence that helps secure your personal transformation?

Journal about your last three conversations with friends or family. Was the content of these conversations hopeful or negative? Be honest of the tone. Is there room for improvement on your part in those conversations by intentionally working to be a thermostat and not a thermometer? Review if there are any core issues that make it difficult for you to speak hopefully about any of the topics in those conversations.
Take inventory of your life. What news stories, articles or social media posts caught your attention in the past week? Do you have a passion around that issue? How could you be intentional about impacting that issue as part of your daily life?

Adding in the why will be the best motivator. To do lists get boring and don’t bring life. If you know why you are doing something and can get behind that why, you will want to do the tasks rather than doing them purely out of obligation. With that, you are able to be more creative and work toward progress because you are imagining how to make your work better rather than just getting it done.

I want to love people well and lead them into a life full of wonder, depth, beauty, joy and freedom. That is why I have been pouring into the podcast, the music I make, the content I create in TikTok, and even how I do my job at Costco. What gives me passion is knowing I have made that impact. And then also just making music and expressing myself creatively fills me with so much joy.

Every time I hear about some christian leader saying or doing something toxic, I am filled with motivation to say or do something about it. To speak to the powers at be and help people live in freedom when toxic religion is so prevalent. That’s a huge reason I’m pouring so much into my music because I really believe that the people going on this lonely but worthwhile journey of questioning their beliefs need this music. I really do think it will help people on their journey as it has helped me process my own. It is exciting and even if I spend hours on end on these songs, I always leave fulfilled and excited to do it again!

Lately, my passion has been centered in speaking truth to bullshit online. My attention has been focused on the hypocrisy of politics in this current wave of Covid. I just can't keep my mouth shut (well, my hands). I've been posting stories pointing out hypocrisy on Facebook and took a few shots from my sister-in-law over it. I fear that my family is a lost cause but I still feel passionate about putting content out into the world that may cause people to reconsider their positions. I know it's difficult because people are stubborn and set in their ways, but I have to keep trying. I've been making more TikToks lately and I focus most of them on educating people about propaganda and tactic used to control the options of the masses. I made a commitment to post everyday for 30 days. There have been a couple of days where I didn't put up any content but I've put up multiple videos on other days.

Of course, most of the attention I received lately was on the Trump interview with Jonathan Swan that I edited and posted. Lol

I'm also educating myself on foster care. I've been reading up on attachment disorders because I struggle with one myself. I want to be able to help kids with their mental health struggled while they're in my care. Considering the quality of most things in my local area, I have very little faith in the education I'll receive from the local DSS training. Maybe I'm just being judgmental and negative about it.

All in all, I feel good about my current direction. Of course, I want to be further and have everything RIGHT NOW but that's pretty typical.
